Short Links to Interesting Things I've Noticed - And, My Apologies, This is Three Days Late
First, a link to an indication that Federal employees are demonstrating concern for their paychecks, should the Left not steal another election. This time, it’s Border Patrol agents showing their spines.
IF I were a nicer person - which I am NOT - I would surely have some sympathy for these younger journalists. Hear the plaintive cry of a Millennial Journalist, alerting all concerned (other Millennial Journalists and a few random Leftists) that the Legacy Media will soon be, as they say in German, Kaput!
Not only do I not have sympathy, I laughed out loud at her vlog.

Life took over from my original plans. My husband had injured his quad last week, and - after somehow managing to get him into the car and head into the Ortho Guy’s office, 3 days after he had gone to the ER for help, it was decided that he was, in fact, quite seriously injured.
He was admitted on Thursday, operated on Friday, and narrowly avoided discharge on Saturday. The fact that he couldn’t put any weight on his recovering leg didn’t affect the decision. It was only the intervention of the Social Worker (bless those people!) who pulled together a team to assess his condition, and got them to admit that he really couldn’t be discharged home until he had some rehab.
Yesterday the nurses (3 of them) maneuvered him into a chair, which cheered him up quite a lot. He could only stand it for around an hour, but that was major progress.
When the Social Worker came into his room, she had good news - he would be transferred to a nearby Senior Assisted Living Center with a Rehab Center attached. She did all the work to coordinate the move, find a space for him, and make sure that his insurance would cover the cost.
So, I’ve had little time to either check out news online, or to watch the news on TV.
Therefore, this little gem slipped by me. The Chinese economy is in trouble - BIG TROUBLE.
The Chinese government owes a lot. And, its people are fast going broke - the real estate market is tanking, and that’s where SEVENTY PERCENT of their money is parked.
But, you say, the Chinese are getting paid from the US Treasury!
Well, yes, they are - for now.
The Dems are working overtime to shore up the Chinese government. That’s the driving force behind the ever-increasing debt.
What happens if we say, “Uh, not going to be able to make next month’s payment.”?
China implodes. Hard.
Too bad. SO sad.
Hauling them into court - INDIVIDUALLY, as well as by Institution - may be the best recourse. Sue the Ba$tard$!
What is the Best Answer to questions from Feds about your Militia/Paramilitary Activity?
NOYFB.
The Bill
H.R.6981, the Preventing Private Paramilitary Activity Act of 2024, was sponsored by Congressman Jamie Raskin, a Democrat from Maryland who apparently has never taken a constitutional law class.
Raskin and co-sponsor Senator Edward J. Markey, (D-Mass.), said in a press release they introduced the bill to “hold individuals liable who directly engage in certain types of conduct, including intimidating state and local officials, interfering with government proceedings, pretending to be law enforcement, and violating people’s constitutional rights, while armed and acting as part of a private paramilitary organization.” (As an aside, there are already plenty of federal statutes on the books to address these types of crimes.)
Who do your legislators fight for?
Apparently, the answer to the boldfaced question is # 3.
At least, if your name is Ilhan Omar.
