The Difference Between 'Facts' and Unreliable Stats
It's Important to Know the Difference
I keep hearing about how The Left has “Facts” on their side. They smugly point to charts, graphs, and numbers that often have been truncated, skewed, cherry-picked, and massaged to within an inch of extinction.
For example, the stats on Coming Climate Change - either Hot or Cold. If the stats don’t start around the Middle Ages - a time period in which we have copious information about the general state of the weather - the stats are worthless.
Which, when you examine the data, is the case. Almost ALL of the climate data originate from around the 1900s or so - the birth of the rise of modern industry. It’s a time when people were moving from lightly mechanized farming communities to urban centers. They were moving to the USA. Population growth was exploding, not just from immigration, but also from larger families (a combination of poor birth control methods, and reductions in death both at birth and early infancy and at the end of life).
That was true of most of the world, but the USA had the fastest changes.
So, with more people, and more mechanization, what would you EXPECT to happen to the temperature trends?

It’s the same with the Crime Stats, which ALWAYS seem to show decreasing crime when the Dems are in office!
Amazingly, the exact same places where crime WAS increasing before, are now NOT increasing - that is, if you believe the statistics.
