Random Sunday Links and Musings
I’ve compared COVID restrictions to those concerning lepers. I’m not the only one that sees this as a convenient ploy.
In case you need further persuasion to vote Trump, here’s a list of things the Democrat Party have in mind if you DON’T. I’m sure all of you are smarter than to vote Biden, but perhaps you can use the list when you see THOSE relatives, who parrot the media without a thought.
A reasoned, logical, and cogent argument for NOT voting for Biden, but, rather Trump. In other words, ignored by the unthinking Biden-positive masses. But, as the writer points out, if you agree with Biden that:
When asked about almost any subject, his answer is some version of: "I'll do whatever the experts say." His deference to bureaucratic experts raises serious questions: Why have elected public servants at all? Why not simply replace representative self-government with a regime right out of Huxley's Brave New World?
He further points out:
Let me be clear: progressivism is an existential threat to the American regime of liberty, or what remains of it. A free, self-governing constitutional republic is incompatible with a progressive regime of total central planning.
The FEC (Federal Election Commission) really needs to investigate this AND prosecute the offenders that let/assisted/facilitated these many abuses of the financial accountability for elections. I have SOME knowledge of finance and accounting, but this is likely to be way above my level of expertise. However, I can follow the trail at the link, and understand the likelihood of China’s Manipulative Little Hand in the Works.
FORTY PERCENT - that’s the percentage of suspicious donations to ActBlue.
Phill Kline, head of Gotfreedom.org, wrote about ActBlues’ shady shenanigans for RealClearPolitics:
[ActBlue] has leveraged its powerhouse presence to negotiate a special relationship with banks so that it does not have to reveal donor names when processing its gift cards, as is normally required for virtually all online transactions. Some people have long suspected this allows ActBlue or a mega-donor to easily break large donations down into smaller gifts to avoid campaign finance laws and Federal Election Commission scrutiny.
Under ActBlue’s set up, foreign programmers can make up names and buy gift cards in bulk to hide the identity of the source of the money. It isn’t even hard. John Pudner and his team at Take Back Action have found that ActBlue has more than 10.9 million “express” donors who contribute repeatedly. According to ActBlue itself, these express donors account for 40 percent of the money they raise.
It needs to be done, but pushing for accountability is going to be hard to conduct in public. Better to investigate, collect the evidence, and agree to quietly accept a resignation, if matched with an admission of guilt, AND with a ban on further government employment, or ability to work as a lobbyist, for their lifetime. If they fight those terms, public prosecution and jail time. Federal lockup, not Club Fed.
Keep the evidence locked up away from Leftists, and clear out a lot of the Deep State. If they later try to return, release the paperwork, including their admission of guilt.
The Leftists better be careful what they ask for - a Truth & Reconciliation Commission would be very interesting.
Don’t worry about Russia, Russia, Russia. Worry about China.
Perhaps behind the Biden candidacy? Never forget those famous words from a Hong Kong protester:
