So, this will be quick. I’m going to post some links to things you need to read/see, with a short description and/or comment on what it’s about.
My List:
Stuart Schneiderman’s Saturday Miscellany - here is the link. This is about education, and the current failings of public education. I’m a retired teacher, so I’m more than a little biased by my own experiences, but this is spot-on.
The point that is made about VP Harris’ laughter is debatable, but what follows is not - these were LAW students, who believed that screaming and cursing at speakers they didn’t agree with was appropriate behavior. The ‘Elite’ schools are turning out a cohort of graduates who will be incapable of earning an honest living. Which will make their own options dealing drugs on the streets, or working for Leftists. How excited their parents will be, after spending all that money, for those kids to have only those dubious choices!
I read this article on insomnia. I don’t often have trouble sleeping, but family members do. Check it out for yourself.
It’s several days later - where DOES the time go? - and I’m just finishing this. Good thing I waited, this link takes you to a post you will NOT want to miss. The part that shocked me - just FLABBERGASTED me, to use that Old Time phrase - was that Biden seems to think it hunky-dory to have Iranian citizens living in the USA vote in the Iranian election. Kids, your citizens are those that have SKIN IN THE GAME. Those that stick around. Oh, sure, they may leave for a SHORT period of time to heal, stash the family in a safe place, and get the money together to stabilize their life. But, then, they need to start doing either ONE of two things:
Petition for LEGAL residency, preparatory to becoming citizens of the new country that was so nice as to allow you to enter. Or,
Pack your bags, buy some arms, and plan your MILITANT return to the home country.
Permanent foreign residents, other than a FEW elderly people, too feeble to live on their own in the old country, and living and supported by their family, are a non-starter. There needs to be a five year limit, whether adults or children.
That is all.
