Isn’t this how that long-ago investigation eventually led to a President resigning?
The clumsy attempts to hide the evidence of a crime/multiple crimes?
[I do not attempt to judge just WHO directed the commission of those long-ago crimes - there is some intriguing speculation that John Dean was the Conspirator in Chief - but the parallels with today’s classified documents accusations against Biden certainly do jump to my attention.]
Biden, like Nixon, is a person who is not easy to like. His flaws are many, and those who dislike him on partisan grounds now have further - and valid - reason to revel in seeing him go down for the count.
Trump is more like Bill Clinton - another deeply flawed individual - who, nonetheless, captivates his supporters, and generates a reflexive and dogged support, no matter what evidence surfaces.
For both Trump and Bill Clinton, their personal ability to connect with their supporters in an emotional way overcomes any effort to bring them down procedurally or legally.
In Trump’s case, only the completely takeover of the Justice Dept. by rabid Trump-Haters, coupled with massive refusal by the courts to reign them in, has resulted in today’s kangaroo courts and the near-certainty of conviction, By Any Means Necessary, including completely ignoring the Constitution. That takeover by the Leftists, that led to J6 protesters being jailed, without Constitutional protections applying, is a situation that the Supreme Court should have corrected forthwith.
Ain’t gonna happen, though. The Roberts Court has distinguished itself as deeply divided on partisan grounds, led by a weakling, and failing in its most essential job.
But, hey, at least no more Mean Tweets!
