How AI Can Manage It

I was reading Instapundit, and noticed this:

PROGRESS: Tesla FSD 12.4.3 is Driving Like a Professional Chauffeur. You can laugh at the flaws in the AI stuff, but it gets better every year.

Humans, on the other hand, don’t.

And, the humans that are NOT improving, and whose performance is generally deteriorating, are elderly seniors.

Not all seniors are failing mentally, at least to an extent that their ability to manage ADL - the Activities of Daily Living are concerned. But there is a gradual deterioration, including ability to process events quickly, visual acuity, physical strength and response time.

For these seniors, having robotic assistance to manage getting them to the doctors, their friends’ homes and local gathering places, and church, to just name a few, can make all the difference to their quality of life and ability to maintain a separate residence from their kin.
